Daily Practice

We writers know we should be writing every day, in the same way we should do lots of pie-in-the-sky things. But is a daily practice really all that difficult? A small, daily wordcount can really add up! Here's what you'll end up with if you write these daily amounts.

  • 200 words - 1 flash fiction every week
  • 500 words - 1 short story every week
  • 800 words - 1 novella every month
  • 1000 words - 4 novels every year

So don't blow it off. Pick your wordcount and stick to it for at least a week! You'll end up with something to show for it.
