Packing Heat 002: Be Professional!

Did anyone out there on the Internets do the 5-story-treatment assignment? I hope you did, and you got at least one good idea out of it. Or more!
A couple of cool sites:
You Send It allows you to upload a file to the Internets and then send someone an email to download the file, all in one step. Their free level of service is robust enough to allow many Word documents to change hands.
The Drone Zone is an online radio station that will help you ignore the freak standing outside your window screaming while you try to write
This episode's assignment:
Journal about on your keyboard about whatever you're writing, within the document of your project. Sometimes writers don't "feel like" writing and make all kinds of excuses to do something other than sitting their butt in the chair. Like doing dishes. Because those dishes are ever so important. Maybe all you need is a warm-up! Try journaling about your story, thinking about things like logistics or character development, or tone or theme. Then select your journaling and change the color of the font to something pale, so that it recedes into the page, but so you can still see it if you need to refer back to it. You can delete it once you've finished your fabulous story. Which you were able to do because you've put in the requisite butt-in-the-chair time!

I agree that sometimes the dishes scream louder than the keyboard. I find myself excusing it by saying "I will think through the story while I do this other thing." Unfortunately it is just an excuse allowing me to push things off.
